Advertising Standards Authority thinks that the words have become so interchangeable in the public’s mind that the tailors of Savile Row in London no longer have a right to the exclusive grip over the word that they’ve had for centuries.
On Wednesday, it rejected a complaint against Sartoriani, a tailor on Bond Street, for using the word “bespoke” in an advertising campaign.
